If you don’t see your insurance listed, you still have some options. You may pay with cash, check, credit card, or with your health savings account. Some insurance companies will even accept a receipt (superbill) showing that you have paid for services and will then reimburse you directly.

Absolutely! Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

IS WHAT I SHARE WITH MY THERAPIST CONFIDENTIAL?
Yes, for the most part, your information is kept private. We cannot share any details with your spouse, partner, parent, or child unless you provide written consent. However, there are a few exceptions where we are required by law to act in order to keep you and others safe, including:
- Suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elderly person, or disabled person
- If we believe you’re in danger of harming yourself or someone else
- If you report an intent to physically harm someone, we must inform that person and legal authorities
Your safety and well-being are our top priority, and these guidelines ensure that.
